This photo collection is a product of fieldwork in Oman in January/February 2001 and January/February 2002.
The aim of the fieldwork was a visit the Bronze and Iron Age sites of Oman in connection with the joint research program,
Trade, migration and cultural change in the Indian Ocean, at the Department of History, University of Bergen,
financed by the Norwegian Research Council. The collection is not only archaeological, but also ethnographical and geographical.
